PRAYER UPDATE:I just got word from the hubs that the swelling went down behind Danny's eye. They have released him to bedrest and will be just keeping an eye on him. No internal bleeding and he is in the clear. Praise Jesus! Thank you for praying.
I know that I have the best bloggy friends in the world and know that I can count on ya'll to get the prayer chain going!
Please pray for my precious friend Danny. Danny is on the basketball team that my husband works with. Last night at one of their games, Danny was sandwiched between two guys and hit really hard. He suffered a concussion and is in the emergency room right now. My husband is there and was kinda vague about the details but he is having some very serious swelling behind one of his eyes. The doctors are very concerned because this could indicate some severe internal bleeding. Please pray for his family, his fiance, and healing for the swelling and for his head. Also please pray that my husband will have the words of peace and comfort for his family in the waiting room.
Thanks for praying. And give everyone you love today a BIG hug. Every day is precious.
Sending all of you a big hug. You make this blogging world so very special.

Holy spawn of Satan
.jpg)
I finally jumped on the bandwagon with the spawn of Satan at the steering wheel. Yesterday I finally started day 1 of the "The Shred".
I bought it a couple of weeks ago and just now got around to getting weights to go with it. So I did my normal run on the treadmill, and decided that it was as good a day as any to get my butt completely worked by Jillian.
Holy mother- this was the hardest workout I have ever had. Now, I am not super in shape and have never been much for working out so this may not mean much to those of you who live in the gym...but seriously Jillian...she ain't messing around my friends.
She was yelling at me..I was yelling back. It. Was. Not. Pretty.
And I may have almost died.
I am sore all over and am identifying muscles I didn't know existed. I don't know how in the heck she expects me to do this for the next 29 days. Sweet lord help me.
Have any of you survived the 30 Day Shred? If so give me positive encouragment!! I need it!

the excitment that is my life
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! It was absolutely GORGEOUS and Sunshiney here this past weekend!! I almost didn't even know how to dress myself...what I don't need five layers to go outside??? I only needed to put on one shirt...I forgot how easy peasy it is to dress when it is warm outside.
On to the weekend highlights:
Friday:
Hubster and I went on a rare date!! woo hoo....he is usally gone most weekends with the team and so I was ecstatic to have him all to myself. We went to see Valentine's Day! It was too cute!
Highlight: Snuggling with Hubby Friday afternoon before the movie. :)
Saturday: Sister in law came in town! Went to hubby's basketball game with her! After the game, we got some pizza and spent the night watching Curling with the hubby!
Highlight: Got to see the sister in law.
Also, our apartment gym finally replaced the broken treadmill. When I walked in on Saturday to run...it was like the heavenlies parted and were singing just for me! Did I mention that I hate running on the elliptical and that is what I have had to run on for the past two months. For some reason it makes me look and feel like a complete spazz....can I get an Amen?
Who knew gym equipment could bring me such joy.
Sunday: A whole lotta nothing...which is about par for the course on Sundays. Went to church, lazed around the rest of the day. Finished the book I have been reading. Did some laundry!
Highlight: ummmmm........sleeping in on Sunday and having the hubby home!

too much to handle
So who watched The Bachelor last night ladies? I almost threw up in my mouth when he picked Vienna at the rose ceremony.
Oh well..let's get to the thoughts:
Gia's Date: I thought their date was the best one of the night. So normal just walking through the beautiful town. They are supercute together.
But honestly....I almost laughed out loud when Jake was TYRING to dance to the reggae music.
Love the hammock over the ocean..I mean talk about unbelievable.
And ouch that comment about how he was surprised she was actually deep...ouch Jake honest much?
Tenley's Date:
Alright Tenley....you know I love you and I think you are adorable...but seriously you and Jake need to talk about something else besides your ex husband. I am starting to think you are not over him.
That helicopter ride was gorgeous!
I think these two are adorbs....but something tells me he won't pick her...even though he should. She is going to get her heart broken.
Vienna's Date: oh lord where do I start with this girl. She licked him first off......ummmmmmmm I am at a loss for words.
Can anybody tell me what that bizarre tattoo is on her side? Yuck!
I feel like she is reading off of a script when she tells Jake how she "feels". This girl is about as real as a ten dollar hair weave.
I'm sorry but that white lingerie was the least sexy thing ever.
I think that Jake likes Vienna because she acts like she is 12. So it makes him feel young. He will most likely pick her and they will last two months after the show and he will get rid of her once he gets tired of babysitting.
Ali: If you knew the "second" you got in the car that you had made a mistake...why didn't you just open the car door back up?
I am excited for the Women Tell All episode!1 It is always one of my favorites!
