I didn't die.

WOOOOOWEEEE!! I have fallen off the blogging train in a big way. I just looked and realized that I have not blogged yet in April...that is UNACCEPTABLE! Sorry for the absence....I am alive. I wish I had a good reason why I was gone. Please just pretend that I just got back from a two week European cruise and that I just did not have computer service. That sounds better than my actual non-excuse of just being a slacker. mmmmkay?!

Here are pics from my last two weekends.

Easter weekend we had a ball. We drove down to see the hub's family. It was really nice to get away and spend time with family. This was the first Easter in three years that we have been able to spend with family, which is just divine!

Easter

On the Saturday of Easter weekend, we went over to what is called the Warrior's Walk at Fort Hood in Hinesville, Ga. This is a memorial to all of the soldiers that have passed away in active duty. They plant an adorable cherry tree for each soldier. Alot of the trees have ornaments and other momentos from family members adorning them. Well, my precious younger sister in law is a crafting genius and decided she wanted to make a patriotic ornament for each tree to honor the soldiers. All 400 of them. Isn't she so selfless?? She has been working on them since September. I am so proud of her and her great idea. It was neat to be able to honor the soldiers that way. Especially the ones who do not have anything on their trees, since their families live too far away. We ended the day with a prayer surrounded by the trees. Such a neat experience. Here are some pics:

This past weekend, the hubby and I went and hiked a few miles at one of the Nature Parks near our home. It was the most unbelievably gorgeous day and we had a blast! God made such a beautiful earth. And yes, I am frolicking!

I'm back!
